World number one taekwondo player Aaron Cook has lost to Portugal's Julio Ferreira in the golden-point round at the European Games.
Ferreira dominated the first round, and a three-point head kick saw the Portuguese leading 5-0.
Moldova's Cook came back in the second round though, pulling the score back to 5-4.
He then levelled at 6-6 midway through round three, but Ferreira scored a point in the final 20 seconds to seemingly claim victory. Cook had other ideas though, and a kyong-go penalty in the final second levelled the scores.
In the golden-point round, Ferreira connected with a kick after 30 seconds to progress.
Ferreira could fight Great Britain's Lutalo Muhammad in the semi-final.
