Kyle Edmund has said that he believes his exploits at the Australian Open earlier this year will help him ahead of his debut at the French Open.
The British number four has come through three qualifying matches to make the main draw at Roland Garros, and the Beverley-based player has admitted that he will look to benefit from his appearance in Melbourne after securing a place in his second major of 2015.
The 20-year-old told BBC Sport: "That's twice now this year I've qualified for a Grand Slam and that's going to help me.
"I'll learn from my first-round match in Australia against Steve Johnson, how I felt going out on court, and what I could have done better."
Edmund will play France's Stephane Robert, who reached the last 16 of the 2014 Australian Open, in the opening round.
