World number nine Samantha Stosur moved into round two of the French Open courtesy of a 6-0 6-2 victory over Kimiko Date-Krumm this afternoon.
The Australian started brightly as her opponent struggled to cope with a string of forehand strokes. She went on to break on three occasions to record an opening-set bagel.
Japan's Date-Krumm provided a little bit more resistance during the second set, but she was still broken twice, which allowed Stosur to book her place in the next round.
She will now face either Kristina Mladenovic or America's Lauren Davis.
