Novak Djokovic has made it safely through to the second round of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships with a straight-sets win over Vasek Pospisil.
The top seed was made to work by the Canadian during the opening set, but he eventually came through 6-4 to take the upper hand.
Both players exchanged breaks at the start of the second before Djokovic broke again to seal the victory 6-4 6-4.
Waiting for the Serbian in the next round is Kazakhstan's Andrey Golubev.
