Britain's Heather Watson insists that she faces a difficult match when she takes on Russia's Maria Kirilenko at the Olympics later today.

British number one Heather Watson has insisted that her Olympic second-round match with Russia's Maria Kirilenko won't be easy.

The 20-year-old, who defeated Spain's Silvia Soler-Espinosa in the last round, will meet the world number 15 later today on Wimbledon's Court 1.

"She's been a top player for a long time. It's not going to be easy," Watson told reporters.

"I know she hits the ball hard. Typical girl, Russian, tries to overpower and blast the ball. So I'm just going to play my game."

The match marks the first time that Watson and Kirilenko will have faced each other on court.
