Dan Evans has insisted that facing Roger Federer on Centre Court will be a "great experience", regardless of the result.
On Thursday, the British number four produced one of the performances of his career to beat Alexandr Dolgopolov in straight sets, and the reward for that victory is a showdown with the seven-time Wimbledon champion.
Evans is the huge underdog against the former world number one but he has said that he will try to "enjoy every minute" of his debut on the main show court at SW19 as he looks to reach the last 16.
The 26-year-old is quoted by The Guardian as saying: "It's going to be a great experience. Hopefully an even better one than most people think.
"It's going to be tough. I'm probably going to go for some pain, running around. But it's going to be enjoyable. I'll enjoy every minute of it, to be honest with you, whatever the score."
Evans is due on court around 5pm.
