Serena Williams eases past 42-year-old Kimiko Date-Krumm to reach the fourth round of Wimbledon.

Reigning champion Serena Williams has continued her march at Wimbledon with a comfortable two-set win over 42-year-old Kimiko Date-Krumm.

The Japanese fended off a break point in her first service game, but was powerless in the fourth as Serena got the early advantage.

After another Williams break, Date-Krumm battled to get one back in the seventh, but lost serve again straight after as the American took the opener 6-2.

From there she did not look back and in the second set Williams showed her power by winning all six games and easing into the next round 6-2 6-0.

Williams moves on to play Sabine Lisicki in the fourth round.
