Ben Coakwell vows to return in Pyeongchang

Bobsleigh star Ben Coakwell promises his Canadian fans that he will compete at the 2018 Games in Pyeongchang.

Bobsleigh star Ben Coakwell has promised his Canadian fans that he will compete at the 2018 Games in Pyeongchang.

The 26-year-old's debut Winter Olympic campaign has not gone to plan. Along with driver Justin Kripp and fellow brakesman Jesse Lumsden and Cody Sorensen, he suffered a worrying crash on Saturday.

Although all four men appeared to escape without significant injury, their chances of winning a medal in this year's four-man event are now effectively over.

Coakwell admits that he is bitterly disappointed, but he insists that Saturday's setback has not put an end to his dreams of Olympic success.
