Canadian curler Ryan Harnden says that winning gold at the Sochi Winter Olympics made Friday the "happiest day of his life".

Canadian curler Ryan Harnden has said that winning gold at the Sochi Winter Olympics made Friday the "happiest day of his life".

The 27-year-old, along with Brad Jacobs, Ryan Fry and sibling E.J. Harnden triumphed in the men's competition when they beat Great Britain 9-3 in the final.

On Saturday, he tweeted a picture of himself and his elder brother posing with their medals, along with the message: "Happiest day of my life and I get to share it with my brother!"
