Great Britain snowboarder Aimee Fuller has lauded her teammate Jenny Jones, claiming that the slopestyle bronze medal winner is a "pioneer" for the sport back home.
The 33-year-old became Team GB's first ever medallist in a snow sport at the Sochi Games, securing a podium finish with a score of 87.25.
"Jenny Jones has been such a pioneer and to see what she has done for British snowboarding is insane and I could not be happier for her," Fuller told BBC Sport.
"I really hope everyone back home has got a taste of what we do. It is a crazy sport and a unique thing.
"It is dangerous, fast and exciting and that's what make it so special. It is an honour to have been part of this."
Earlier today, the mayor of Bristol suggested that the city may throw a special homecoming event for the bronze medallist.
