Great Britain flagbearer and speed skater Jon Eley has praised his teammate Jenny Jones, claiming that the slopestyle bronze medal winner is an 'inspiration' to all her compatriots.
The 33-year-old became Team GB's first ever medallist in a snow sport earlier today at the Sochi Games, securing a podium finish with a score of 87.25
"It is really inspiring for the rest of the team. Everyone has their own goals but it is good to see someone in Team GB colours on the podium." Eley told BBC Sport.
Earlier today, the mayor of Bristol suggested that the city may throw a special homecoming event for the bronze medallist.
