Great Britain curler Anna Sloan has admitted that her team's strong start was key to their comfortable win against the United States on Tuesday.
Sloan said that all the members of the team played the key shots well, which meant that the Americans were never able to get into the game.
"I think we've just been told that might be an Olympic record," Sloan told BBC Sport. "It was good; we all came out firing and [the seven scored on end four] was the key end.
"We all made key shots in that end and we set it up well to get there. It was a good stepping stone for us and builds up a bit of confidence to go on into the next games."
Team GB take on Canada in their next game on Wednesday.
