Eve Muirhead looking to draw on Rhona Howie experience

Great Britain women's curling skip Eve Muirhead reveals that she will draw on the experience of former Olympic gold medalist Rhona Howie before her side's semi-final with Canada.

Great Britain women's curling skip Eve Muirhead has revealed that she is drawing on the experience of former Olympic gold medalist Rhona Howie ahead of their semi-final showdown with Canada.

Howie was the skip of Team GB when they were victorious in the 2002 Winter Olympics and is currently the head coach of the curling team, and Muirhead is looking to take full advantage of having her around in Sochi.

Muirhead told the Daily Mail: "Rhona was in the same position as us, with a semi-final to come against Canada, back in 2002. She came out on top there and it is great just to know that Rhona is here with us, and that she has been there and done it.

"We can speak to her as much as we want and draw on her experience. I'll definitely be having a chat with her tonight and tomorrow morning before the game because it is great to know about how she went through all the emotions."

Team GB face off against Canada in the last four later today.
