Team GB curler Anna Sloan has claimed that keeping calm was a key ingredient of Saturday's 10-8 victory over South Korea at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Korea secured a steal of two in the ninth end, leaving Great Britain 8-7 down heading into the 10th. However, GB skip Eve Muirhead secured a decisive three with the final stone of the game.
"We were in control for most of the game until that ninth end," Sloan told reporters. "We stepped back, relaxed and didn't panic because we knew if we kept playing like we had been, we'd be okay.
"It was always going to be tough against the Koreans, who pretty much live full-time in Canada during the winter.
"It doesn't matter how you win as long as you do. We are building some momentum now and we are pleased with how we are playing and supporting each other. We're keeping our consistency levels up."
Despite losing their second game of the day 8-6 to Switzerland, Britain's women remain well placed to reach the semi-finals.
