Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians has admitted that Deone Bucannon is currently on a steep learning curve to live up to his potential as the club's number one Draft pick.
Arians said that the strong safety would first need to 'learn the language' and, once he does that, should be able to go out and play the game the way that he knows.
"I think any time you're the number one pick there's a certain amount of pressure that comes with it," Arians told NFL.com.
"Potential will get you killed sometimes. It's going out and playing. So much of it's language. The first month is just learning the language."
Bucannon was selected as the 27th overall pick in the 2014 Draft.
