The Atlanta Falcons will be sweating on the fitness of Steven Jackson as he was carted off during their crucial victory over the New Orleans Saints.
The Falcons brushed past New Orleans with a 30-14 win at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to keep their playoff dreams alive, but Jackson had to leave the field having picked up a quad injury in the first half.
If Jackson fails to take to the pitch in the next few days, the Falcons may have to entrust Devonta Freeman and Jacquizz Rodgers to carry the weight as they bid to make the postseason.
Atlanta will meet the Carolina Panthers next weekend with the winner earning a place in the playoffs.
