Half-Time Report: Green Bay Packers lead Bengals by two points

A late Mason Crosby kick gives the Green Bay Packers a two-point lead over the Cincinnati Bengals at half time.

The Green Bay Packers staged a second-quarter fightback to take a 16-14 lead into half time of their NFL match against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The hosts made a blistering start to the contest when they scored a touchdown on the first drive, Giovani Bernard running over from three yards to open the scoring.

The Packers gifted the ball back to the Bengals with a fumble immediately after the restart and Cincinnati took full advantage to double their lead through a BenJarvus Green-Ellis two-yard run.

Green Bay got on the board at the start of the second quarter when a Bengals fumble allowed Mason Crosby to score a field goal and reduce the deficit to 11 points.

That gap was further shortened when MD Jennings collected a Bengals fumble, returning it 24 yards for a touchdown before Crosby added a 19-yard field goal later in the quarter to make it a one-point game.

Crosby then added another kick with three seconds remaining in the half to send his side into the break ahead.
