Chuck Pagano hails offensive line in victory over Denver Broncos

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano hails the performance of his side's offensive line in their playoff victory over the Denver Broncos.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has hailed the role of his side's offensive line in their divisional-round playoff win over the Denver Broncos.

Quarterback Andrew Luck was not sacked in the contest as he guided his team to the crucial victory, despite playing against two of the best pass-rushers in the game in the form of the Broncos' Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware.

Pagano ensured that he credited the offensive line for protecting Luck to help them advance to the AFC championship game for the first time since the 2009 season.

"The offensive line did a stand-up job, and you've got a team that had 41 sacks on the season, and great rushers on the inside and Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware on the outside," Pagano told reporters.

"The offensive line, they did a great job. And [Andrew] Luck's got the ability to extend plays and buy time and move around and manipulate the pocket, if you will, but they did a great job."

The Colts face the New England Patriots for a place in the Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.
