Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin has revealed that while he wants to see production improve ahead of the new season, he also believes that there is work to be done on the tempo of the offense.
Having brought in new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor to help mimic the Philadelphia Eagles style, Philbin conceded that he has been discussing improvements.
"[Lazor and I] talked on the sidelines a couple times [Saturday] that we thought we could have been pushing the pace a little faster. It's something that has to get a little quicker," Philbin said, the Miami Herald reports.
Meanwhile, receiver Mike Wallace has admitted to problems with the system but claims that the team will be ready once the season starts.
