Minnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen has backed his team to show how good they are against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
The Vikings lost 20-3 against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night, and Griffen believes that the loss was tough for the team to take.
The 27-year-old feels that he is part of a quality team and promised that the Vikings would bounce back to beat the Lions.
Griffen told reporters: "We are a good team. We practise like a good team each and every day. I don't know what that showing was.
"I'm very angry right now as you can see, because we prepared way too hard. But we're going to go out there and get it [against Detroit]."
Griffen started all 16 games for the first time last season, making 57 tackles and 12 sacks.
