New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola has revealed that he is "excited" about his side's offense this season.
The 27-year-old signed for Bill Belichick's team in March following the departure of Wes Welker, and along with rookies Aaron Dobson and Josh Boyce, he is eager to prove that their offense will be as effective without the now Denver Broncos man.
Ameondola told reporters: "Yeah, you got to play with a chip on your shoulder. It's the NFL, everybody does and it's an intense game.
"It's very physical and these young guys will learn and we're going to get better, especially out in Philly so we're all excited about it."
New England face the Philadelphia Eagles in their opening pre-season game.
