Julian Edelman hails Tom Brady desire

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman praises Tom Brady's desire to still compete in the NFL despite entering his 15th year in the league.

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman feels that quarterback Tom Brady is still as hungry as ever despite his entering his 15th season in the NFL.

The 37-year-old has won three Super Bowls in his time with the Patriots, but has failed to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy since the 2004 campaign.

Edelman believes that Brady's desire for further success drives him to keep playing the game.

"Each and every year I've played with him, he's always a little more motivated the next year," Edelman told WEEI.

"That's just kind of the guy he is. What's his favorite game? It's the next game. That's just that competitor in Tom, and he plays with that chip on his shoulder."

The Patriots face the Miami Dolphins in their 2014 season opener on September 7.
