The New Orleans Saints have released long-serving wide receiver and Super Bowl winner Lance Moore, according to reports.
Moore had been with the Saints since 2005 after coming out of college as an undrafted rookie and being released by the Cleveland Browns following a brief stay with the team that off-season.
The 30-year-old was the longest-serving player on the Saints roster and ranks among the franchise's top five receivers in receptions (346) and touchdown catches (38).
He had two years remaining on his contract with the team, but his release could free up as much as $3.8m (£2.27m) for the Saints against the salary cap.

Moore becomes the latest in a growing list of veterans released by the Saints this off-season, with the likes of Will Smith, Jonathan Vilma, Roman Harper and Jabari Greer also seeing their time with the team come to an end.
