San Diego Chargers head coach Mike McCoy has insisted that his side must be alert to the New York Giants' ability to rush the quarterback, despite the statistics not suggesting as much so far this season.
The Giants are near the bottom of the league in terms of sacks this season, but McCoy has chosen to focus on the fact that they are historically strong at getting to the QB.
"I think defensively, historically, they've always done a great job of getting after the quarterback," McCoy told his club's official website.
"They've always rushed them and put pressure on the quarterback and you see that on film."
McCoy took over as Chargers coach at the start of this season.
