Free agent quarterbacks Josh Freeman and Matt Flynn are poised to workout with the New York Giants, according to a report.
Freeman's deal with the Minnesota Vikings wasn't renewed for the 2014 season, after he joined them mid-season following his release by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Meanwhile, Flynn endured the same fate with the Green Bay Packers when he signed for the club after he was released by the Buffalo Bills in November.
However, both players will now have the chance to try to earn a roster spot with the Giants to cover for Eli Manning as he recovers from off-season ankle surgery, reports NFL Network.
The Giants hired former Packers quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo as their offensive coordinator following the retirement of Kevin Gilbride.
