New York Jets place cornerback Dee Milliner on injured reserve

The New York Jets confirm that they have placed cornerback Dee Milliner on injured reserve, after the 23-year-old tore his Achilles tendon on Sunday.
The New York Jets have announced that they have placed cornerback Dee Milliner on season-ending injured reserve.
The 23-year-old sustained an Achilles injury during his side's defeat to the Denver Broncos on Sunday as he attempted to block a field goal.
Milliner has now been ruled out for the rest of the campaign, and has been replaced on the roster by defensive back Josh Thomas.
The Jets selected Milliner with the ninth pick in the 2013 Draft.
