Rex Ryan has said that he has not decided to trade Mark Sanchez at the end of the season.
It had been reported that the New York Jets coach would look to offload the quarterback in the offseason.
Ryan told the New York Daily News: "That didn't come from me. I have absolutely zero focus on that right now. That's for another day.
"I think I'll focus on the players we have on this roster instead of somebody else's players.
"I'll be honest with you, if we had Tom Brady, I'd be happy with that. We don't."
Ryan has turned to third-string quarterback Greg McElroy for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers.
