Quarterback Sam Bradford has admitted that his move to the Philadelphia Eagles was in the pipeline for some time.
Bradford joined the Eagles from the St Louis Rams yesterday, in a swap deal with Nick Foles.
The 27-year-old told NFL.com: "This had been in the works for a while, so it didn't catch me totally by surprise when it happened yesterday."
He added: "[I] knew this was a possibility probably three, four weeks ago. I think that [coach] Chip [Kelly] and the Eagles wanted me here, and I'm excited to be here."
Bradford didn't play last season, but he threw 58 touchdowns between 2010 and 2013 for the Rams.
