Tennessee Titans have selected higly-rated quarterback Marcus Mariota as their first pick and second overall in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Speculation was rife that the Philadelphia Eagles were keen on swooping for the 21-year-old, who stayed put with the Titans.
Mariota's 4,454 yards with the Oregon Ducks last year saw him win the Heisman Trophy for best college player.
The news follows the acquisition of fellow quarterback Jameis Winston, who joined Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first pick of the Draft.
