Bernard Pollard has claimed that the Tennessee Titans need players that are winners to turn the fortunes of the franchise around.
The 30-year-old was released by the AFC South outfit on Monday, bringing an end his two season with the club.
However, Pollard feels that a lot of work needs to be done to reverse the fortunes of Ken Whisenhunt's men after they posted the joint-worst record in the NFL in the 2014 season.
"I'm not going to say they can't win here," Pollard told The Tennessean. "I believe they can win. But they need more pieces. And they need more guys from winning organizations to help turn things around.
"When you bring in free agents from losing teams, they go from one losing team to another. So you are not changing things, because his culture is, 'OK I have been losing every year anyway, so I am doing the same thing here.'"
Pollard recorded 126 tackles, 1.5 sacks and three interceptions in his two years with the Titans.
