San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt has reportedly accepted the position of head coach at the Tennessee Titans.
The 51-year-old was interviewed for the job last week before the Chargers' divisional round defeat to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, as the Titans looked to find a replacement for Mike Munchak, who was fired following a 7-9 season.
Whisenhunt impressed enough during the interview to be offered the position by Titans chief executive Tommy Smith and will take over the side ahead of the 2014 season, according to ESPN.
The former Arizona Cardinals head coach spent just one season with the Chargers.
