Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson has insisted that he and his teammates have to give their all to support Matthew Dellavedova in their remaining matches of the NBA Finals.
The Australian has emerged as a key player for the Cavaliers after Kyrie Irving went down with an injury in game one of the series, and he played a huge role in helping his team take a 2-1 lead after game three.
However, the Golden State Warriors hit back hard against Dellavedova in game four to disrupt his rhythm as he struggled to have the same affect on the match as his side fell to a 103-82 defeat.
"We'll just try to help him out," Thompson told Northeast Ohio Media Group. "At the same time, if they're looking for Delly to try to get him off his game, we got to do the same thing to Curry and their guys.
"Set a hard screen, help Delly be physical against whoever his matchup is because we're not going to leave him on an island. We've got to have each others back."
The series is tied at 2-2 ahead of game five of the Finals later today at Oracle Arena.
