Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson has admitted that he expects to be fit for game one of the NBA Finals.
Thompson sustained a concussion in his side's win over the Houston Rockets last week, but has returned to practice after showing no further symptoms of the injury.
The 25-year-old is now confident that he will be fit to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday at Oracle Arena.
When asked how he was feeling, Thompson told ESPN: "About a 9.5. Actually, no, a nine. Couple more days to get completely right, and I expect to be fully healthy and compete on Thursday.
"I'm extremely confident. I'd be very shocked if I didn't [pass], so I'm really confident I will, and like I said, I feel like I'm well on my way there. I can't give you any promises, but I'm as confident as you can be."
The Warriors will be aiming to win their fourth NBA Championship in the Finals against the Cavaliers.
