The Golden State Warriors have started their Western Conference semi-final series against the Memphis Grizzlies with a comfortable 101-86 win at the Oracle Arena.
The visitors were missing a couple of players, allowing the Warriors to make a quick start, with Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green putting the hosts 10 points up in the first quarter.
The conference's top seeds continued to build on their lead after the break, with Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry building a 20-point gap midway through the third, before Courtney Lee and Zach Randolph pulled a few points back for the Grizzlies.
Memphis tried to get some points back at the start of the final spell, but they never closed the gap to less than 14 in the final 12 minutes as Thompson and Marreese Speights kept the points coming for Golden State, while Curry finished the game with 22.
The teams play again in Oakland on Tuesday, when the Warriors will be looking for a 22nd straight home win.
