Chris Copeland has said that having an opportunity to play an extended spell with the Indiana Pacers is good for confidence.
Coach Frank Vogel rested his starters during the 104-102 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, allowing the reserves to lead the team to the win, which also moves them back to the top of the Eastern Conference.
The forward told reporters: "It's big for our confidence, the second unit, just to get the opportunity out there. A lot of us have been waiting for that all year. So it was very cool for us to get out there and get a win and show the starters that we've got their backs when they need rest."
Copeland has his best performance of the season, finishing the game with 18 points from a 17-minute spell.
