Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel has heaped praise on Paul George as his side beat the Atlanta Hawks 92-80 on Saturday, claiming that the forward carried the team to victory.
The Pacers claimed a 4-3 first-round win last night to progress to the semi-finals, with George scoring a post-season, career-high 30 points, while also adding 11 rebounds.
"Paul George really carried us for a lot of the game on the offensive end," Vogel revealed after the match.
"He's a gamer. The bigger the stakes, the better he's going to play."
The Pacers will now face the Washington Wizards in the next round on Monday.
