Frank Vogel has described David West as "our rock" following the Indiana Pacers' win over the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA playoffs.
The 95-88 win, in which West scored 24 points, leaves the first-round series level ahead of tomorrow's deciding game.
The coach told reporters: "He's our rock. There's no other way to put it.
"When a team is making runs like that, an eight seed trying to knock off a one seed in their building and the place is erupting on every play, we have a guy with the composure to settle everyone down."
The winner of tomorrow's game will play the Washington Wizards in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
