Doc Rivers has insisted that his Los Angeles Clippers side are as ready as they can be for the NBA playoffs after ending the regular season with a win.
The Clippers, who will be one of just two teams not in action on the final day of the season, beat the Phoenix Suns 112-101 to leave them with 14 wins from their last 15 outings.
The coach told ESPN: "We are ready as we can be. We are healthy, we finished the season on a nice run, 14 of 15 [wins]. That is all you can ask for but I know like everyone else knows, even though it ended that way, game one is new. Now it starts all over again."
The Clippers will finish no lower than third in the Western Conference, but can move up to second seed depending on other results later today.
