Los Angeles Lakers head coach Byron Scott has confessed that he doesn't trust some of his players after a difficult season.
The Lakers are bottom of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference with a 20-56 record, which is the worst performance in the history of the franchise.
Scott has admitted that he wouldn't like to turn his back on some of his players, and is already planning life without them for the next campaign.
"I got a sense of a whole lot of them I wouldn't want to be in a foxhole with," Scott told reporters. "I think they'd end up shooting me in the back.
"So I've got a pretty good sense of the guys that I think are going to be around, that we will build around, build together in this process and go through it."
The Lakers have six matches left in their season, starting with their clash against the Los Angeles Clippers later today.
