Miami Heat forward Rashard Lewis has hailed head coach Erik Spoelstra for his use of substitutions in his side's game two victory over the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.
The Heat tied the series with the 98-96 win just days after losing the opening game of the Finals as the visitors struggled when the air conditioning system broke inside at the AT&T Center.
Lewis told reporters: "I thought Spo did a good job of taking guys out early and not leaving them out there so our bodies wouldn't get tired.
"It was keeping us rested and keeping our main guys rested and shifting them in and out and keeping them with a lot of energy going into that fourth quarter so they could take over the game."
Game three of the series takes place on Tuesday.
