Miami Heat forward Rashard Lewis has spoken of his delight at his performance in their 110-94 victory over the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
Lewis was given the shout to start the game ahead of the injured Shane Battler and he chipped in with 18 points to help the visitors to the win.
"It was almost like perfect timing. You don't wish anything bad on your teammates to get hurt, but coach called my name to start tonight and I came out and played well," Lewis told reporters after the game.
"I'm very happy about it, especially in front of these fans. It means a lot to me. These fans showed a lot of support and it was a lot of fun for me."
The victory sees Miami sitting in top spot in the Southeast Division with a record of 25-8 for the season.
