Five teams in the playoff hunt have reportedly opened trade talks with the Minnesota Timberwolves for Gary Neal.
The guard only joined the team from the Charlotte Hornets just before the All-Star break as part of the Mo Williams trade.
However, CBS reports that the Atlanta Hawks are among up to five teams currently in playoff contention that are pursuing a trade for the 30-year-old.
The report adds that Neal's agent is likely to seek a buyout if he is not traded, or moves on to a non-playoff side.
