San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan has opted to play for an 18th season in the NBA after agreeing to take on the final year of his contract, according to a report.
The 38-year-old admitted that he was unsure that he would play on after winning the fifth NBA Championship of his career in his side's 4-1 series victory over the Miami Heat.
However, Duncan has exercised the $10.3m (£6m) clause to play on in the 2015 season to remain with Gregg Popovich's side, reports ESPN.
Duncan scored 77 points in five games against the Heat in the NBA Finals.
