Frank Warren says that the Luxembourg Boxing Federation will continue to sanction the fight between David Haye and Dereck Chisora.

Frank Warren has insisted that the fight between Dereck Chisora and David Haye will go ahead as planned.

Doubts surfaced over the bout after the European Boxing Union threatened to expel the Luxembourg Boxing Federation if they did not withdraw their sanction of the July 14 billing.

The British Boxing Board of Control have also aired their grievances and have threatened to summon anyone involved in the scheduling of the show to a disciplinary hearing, where their membership could be terminated.

It was feared that the clash could end up being an unlicensed bout should the LBF withdraw their support.

However, Warren has now moved to clarify the situation, stating that the LBF will continue to sanction the grudge fight.

"There are no consequences to the show at all," Warren told the Daily Mail. "The facts are, the show will not be unlicensed, nor will it be run as an unlicensed show.

"The EBU's decision does not mean Luxembourg can't sanction this fight."

The fight will take place at Upton Park.
