England's Ben Stokes to undergo scan after suffering calf injury during Test

England all-rounder Ben Stokes will miss the rest of day four of the second Test after suffering a calf injury.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes will undergo a scan on Tuesday after suffering a calf injury midway through day four of the second Test against Pakistan at Old Trafford.

The 25-year-old will play no further part in today's action after he hurt himself while bowling in the afternoon session.

Stokes will learn tomorrow if the injury will affect his participation in the remaining two Tests of the series as he is booked in to have an MRI scan.

The Durham cricketer had only just returned to international action after missing England's last three Test matches due to knee surgery.

The team are looking to level the series after England lost the opener by 75 runs.
