Australia captain Michael Clarke believes that there is nothing wrong with how England's Jos Buttler was dismissed during their one-day international series decider against Sri Lanka.
Sachithra Senanayake has been accused of going against the spirit of the game after Buttler was ran out at the non-strikers' end while backing up during Sri Lanka's victory at Edgbaston on Tuesday.
While the rules allow it, England captain Alastair Cook was unhappy that Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews allowed the dismissal.
"I think as long as the player's warned, it's in the rules so you can make whatever decision you want," BBC Sport quotes Clarke as saying.
"Will an Australian player do it? I think I'd be silly to stand here and say 'no, it will never happen under my captaincy'."
England lost the series 3-2.
