Royal Challenger Bangalore's opener Chris Gayle believes that his side's victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders was a team effort.
Ray Jennings's side defeated their opponents by eight wickets in the Indian Premier League on Thursday.
"The team effort was wonderful, both bowlers and batsmen contributed to our victory," he told reporters.
"Bowlers did their job well at the death, not giving any chance for the rivals to post 170-odd runs, which appeared achievable at one point of time."
Gayle scored 85 runs in his unbeaten knock against the Knight Riders.
