Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly identified Hertha Berlin youngster Ibrahim Maza as a potential summer transfer target.
Vitor Pereira is currently focused on trying to keep Wolves in the Premier League, his side sitting two points clear of the relegation zone.
On the back of two wins over Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers, there is some much-needed positivity at Molineux ahead of fixtures with Liverpool and Bournemouth.
However, Wolves already face the prospect of a difficult summer transfer window, a consequence of Matheus Cunha having a release clause in his new contract and the futures of the likes of Rayan Ait-Nouri and Joao Gomes likely to come under the spotlight.
According to BILD, consideration is already being given to adding a young playmaker to the senior ranks.

Wolves chasing Maza?
The report claims that Wolves are one of several clubs who hold an interest in securing a deal for Algeria international Maza.
A total of five goals and two assists have come from 21 appearances in 2.Bundesliga during 2024-25, despite, Hertha Berlin being down in 13th place in the standings.
Although a contract is in place until 2027, Maza is said to have a release clause in the region of €10m (£8.35m).
While Maza has spent the last one-and-a-half seasons in the second tier of German football, the Berlin-born attacker has one goal from his two outings in the top flight, a 25-minute outing coming at Bayern Munich before he netted in a win over Wolfsburg in May 2023.
His debut for Algeria came in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Togo, albeit only featuring for one minute during that October fixture.

Fierce competition expected?
There has been no shortage of interest in Maza with Newcastle United, West Ham United, AC Milan and Porto having all been linked with a move.
Each of those teams have the financial capabilities to meet Maza's buy-out option, his final decision likely to come down to progression on the pitch.
Maza would theoretically have a seamless fit into one of Pereira's two playmaking roles behind the main striker if he were to move to Molineux.
Despite likely not being an automatic starter with any of the aforementioned five teams, there seems potential for Maza to become established as the years pass by.
