2011 runner-up Wes Newton has been handed a tie with Martyn Turner in the first round of the UK Open.
Newton struggled during the six qualifying rounds for the tournament in Minehead, but after sealing his place in the last event, he will need to beat the world number 147 and one of Jon Jukes or Shaun Griffiths to make the last 64.
In the second round, former World Championship finalist Kevin Painter will play Jamie Bain, Dean Winstanley goes up against William O'Connor and former Lakeside winner Christian Kist could play experienced Irishman Connie Finnan.
The likes of Michael van Gerwen, Phil Taylor and Gary Anderson will enter the competition at the third-round stage.
