Michael van Gerwen was full of confidence after booking his place in the quarter-finals of the UK Open on Saturday night.
The world champion beat Andy Hamilton 9-5 in round four, before progressing to the last eight thanks to a 9-4 win over Mark Webster, who had earlier led 2-0 and 3-2.
"Mark started well, but I came back really strongly and I was pleased with that," the Dutchman told reporters.
"I know I'm in form and I'm hitting the right darts when I need to. I've never won this tournament before so that's a big aim for me on Sunday."
Van Gerwen, who is the odds-on favourite to win the Minehead tournament, wil take on Ian White this afternoon.
